Metropolitan Hilarion of Rivne and Ostroh OCU paid an archpastoral visit to the village of Ruda Krasna, where he consecrated the church in honor of Saint Basil the Great and led the Divine Liturgy in it.

Archpriest Serhii Luchanin, secretary of the diocese, archpriest Oleksandr Litvintsov, deacon of the Klevan diocese, archpriest Mykolay Kosik, the rector of the church, and invited clergy assisted at the bishop’s service.
After the Triple Litany, Metropolitan Hilarion together with the clergy and parishioners offered prayers for Ukraine’s victory in the fight against the Russian aggressor and prayers for Ukrainian soldiers.
At the end of the visit, Bishop Hilarion addressed the parishioners of the church with a sermon and congratulated the congregation on the consecration of the church, which will become the spiritual center of the parish’s life.
The bishop also honored the rector of the temple, archpriest Mykola Kosik, and church assets with blessed certificates.
