The prosecutors of the Starobil District Prosecutor’s Office of the Luhansk Region sent indictments to the court against two “heads” of the occupation administration of the so-called “LNR” on the basis of the fact of collaborative activity (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). One of the accused turned out to be the abbot of the UOC MP church, who at the same time was the headman of the villages of Morozivka, Zorynivka and Shelestivka.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the investigation established that the residents of the Starobil district of the Luhansk region went over to the side of the enemy immediately after the full-scale Russian invasion.
Under the occupiers, they held the positions of “heads of the life support departments of the villages of Morozivka and Velikotsk of the administration of the Milovsky District of the LPR.”
Pseudo-officials take part in media events of local propaganda TV channels, where they talk about improving life in the specified settlements.
The accused are wanted.
They face up to 10 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to 15 years and with possible confiscation of property.
